Geraldine

GRADUATE

Geraldine joined Bodyology with a clear intention: to develop skills that would help her care for and support others. Although she was already working for a local council, she felt a strong calling to learn more about hands-on, holistic approaches to well-being.

One of the highlights of her training was the inclusive, welcoming learning environment. “Our class was incredibly diverse—people of all ages, backgrounds, and levels of education came together,” she recalled. Geraldine appreciated the warm, engaging atmosphere created by the tutors. “There was a real sense of connection among us. We felt at ease and learned from each other.”

Today, Geraldine practices massage part-time and finds particular joy in treating her mother—a gesture of care that reflects her original motivation for entering the field.

Geraldine, why massage?

I wanted to learn some skills that would nurture not only me but also other people. I also wanted to create a positive working environment.

What profession would you choose if not massage therapy?

I would choose another type of therapy, possibly counselling therapy.
