No previous massage or professional therapy experience is required. This course is suitable for complete beginners as well as qualified therapists looking to add Indian Head Massage to their practice.
You will learn a complete Indian Head Massage (Shiroabhyanga) treatment, covering technique, anatomy and physiology, contraindications, consultation, client care, traditional principles and the appropriate use of Indian hair oils.
The course runs over two days. Day One is face-to-face practical training, where you’ll observe and practise a full treatment under tutor supervision. Day Two is a live online session via Zoom, exploring the history, philosophy and science behind the practice.
